For the preparation of the iconic Naturalist Painting Exhibition at Millennium Gallery, DeepBlue Energy developed lighting systems that would enable to capture the richness of the colors and textures of the oil paintings, guaranteeing the homogeneity of light distribution, control of reflected light and shadow and a faithful color rendering across the spectrum. The lighting systems designed and installed in 2013, are now the permanent systems of the gallery, accommodating exhibitions as diverse as the famous Sardines and the individual exhibition of José de Guimarães.
Following this project DeepBlue Energy was also invited to do the design and installation of the lighting system for the monumental entrance of the headquarters of Millennium Private Banking, which included the illumination of a very large early 20th century oil masterpiece by Jose Malhoa.
