TAP Air Portugal has been planning to build two new VIP lounges at Lisbon airport in order to accommodate passengers in transit in a more pleasant way and, to increase the attractiveness of this airport as a point of connection between flights. The design of the VIP rooms was tendered and DeepBlue was selected to design and perform the custom lighting for these rooms, namely a light fixture with more than 100 m2, programmable to vary the light level, according to selected criteria, such as the time of day and the level of exterior light. DeepBlue Energy was also selected to design and develop the custom lighting of the rest and relaxation area, which includes the simulation of an open night sky area.
